POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Poughkeepsie Plaza donated $500 to Hudson Valley Hospice, a local, non-profit health-care agency which provides compassionate care and support for individuals and families in Dutchess and Ulster Counties who are faced with a life-limiting illness.Care provided by Hudson Valley Hospice includes certified hospice nurses, medical social workers, home health aides, spiritual care, volunteers, medical equipment and supplies, along with music and other complementary therapies, and grief and bereavement support.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Multi-Chamber Regional Business-to-Business Networking Expo.The annual tabletop expo featuring more than 100 exhibitors, presented by the chambers of commerce of Darien, Fairfield, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston/Westport and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council will take place on Wednesday, March 23, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Norwalk Community College, West Campus 188 Richards Ave., Norwalk.

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Twenty-eight teams from throughout the New York metropolitan area converged on Pace University in Pleasantville on Sunday, Feb. 21, to participate in the Hudson Valley Championship of the FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, Challenge.
