Steven Santucci, 40, of Waterbury, was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge Robert N. Several Spring Valley Businesses Burglarized SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Spring Valley police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted for breaking into several local businesses in one building last week. Beacon Man Injured In Shooting BEACON, N.Y. -- A Beacon man has been identified as the person shot in Newburgh on Tuesday afternoon, according to TWC News. Joel Ladson, 28, was shot at the corner of Grand and Catherine streets, but managed to run to the intersection of South and Montgomery streets, where Newburgh police found him, said TWC News. Ladson, who was shot around 2:15 p.m., was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, TWC added. Police are asking anyone with information to call 845-561-3131. The 46-year-old man died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, said John Nelson, director of public and community affairs for the hospital.  "Our sympathies go out to his family," Nelson said.
