Fugitives Found With Drugs In Nighttime I-95 Stafford Stop: Cops
A pair of fugitives were found with drugs in a weekend traffic stop on I-95 in Northern Virginia. Deputies pulled over the vehicle driven by 42-year-old Leonard Braxton on the northbound side of the highway in Stafford around 11 p.m. on Nov. 4, after the driver changed lanes without signaling multiple times, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said. Braxton, of Richmond, was wanted out of Prince William, Lancaster, and Fairfax County, while his passenger, Monica Reed, was wanted out of Stafford, police said. A pair of Pennsylvania robbers are facing additional charges for an armed heist at a New Jersey liquor store early this month that authorities say is part of a larger armed robbery spree. Duane Yancey, of Harrisburg, went into Free Bridge Wine & Liquors and fired a shot into the ceiling, then ordered the clerk and six customers onto the ground while pointing a gun at them, on Wednesday, Nov. 1 around 6:15 p.m., Warren County Prosecutor James L. Occupied Home Struck By Bullet In Loudoun County
An occupied home was struck by a bullet in Loudoun County — the second reported incident of gunfire over the weekend. Police responded to the 21500 block of Schoolhouse Court in Ashburn around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, on reports of an occupied home struck by a bullet, the sheriff's office said. Arsonist Found Unconscious After Setting Fire To His NJ Apartment: Prosecutor
A 40-year-old arsonist was found unconscious after setting a fire that ignited a Somerset County apartment, authorities said. Dashawn Holmes, a tenant in an East Main Street building in Somerville, was found unconscious by firefighters responding to the alarm set off just before midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 25, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said. Holmes was taken to an area hospital for treatment. A skydiver was flown to an area hospital with injuries suffered in an accident at a New Jersey airport over the weekend. New Jersey State Police said only that the accident happened around 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 in a wooded swamp north of the Sussex County Airport in Wantage. The skydiver had crashed was airlifted to a nearby hospital for evaluation, New Jersey State Police said.

Police are seeking the gunman who wounded another man in a Loudoun County shooting over the weekend, they said. An argument on the 100 block of N. Fillmore Avenue in Sterling escalated, leading to the shooting around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, the county sheriff's office said. The victim and suspect had encountered each other before. Tractor Trailer Bursts Into Flames On I-81 In Northern VA
A tractor trailer burst into flames on Monday, Nov. 6 on Interstate 81, officials said. It happened around 7 a.m. on the northbound side near milepost 251, in Rockingham County, Virginia State Police said. The vehicle suffered a mechanical issue which caused the blaze. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured during the incident. Both sides of the Interstate are closed for precaution. VDOT is on the scene and assisting with the roadway closure and detour. A police officer fatally shot a knife-wielding man on Sunday night, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced on Monday, Nov. 6. The shooting happened in the 500 block of Elm Avenue in Churchville, Northampton Township at 7:29 p.m., the DA's release detailed.
