Police: Man Killed After Being Hit By School Bus While Going Through Stop Sign On Bike Path
A bicyclist was killed after going through a stop sign into the path of an oncoming bus, according to police. The 54-year-old male bicyclist was reportedly traveling in Ulster County northeast on Kingston's new Greenline bike path along Greenkill Avenue, which runs along the right side of the road on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Bicyclist Struck By Truck, Seriously Hurt In Neptune City
Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to Route 66 in Monmouth County on a report of a bicyclist struck by a truck, authorities said. The collision occurred shortly before noon on the 2200 block of Route 66 in Neptune City, according to reports. Police requested advanced life support for the seriously injured person, according to an initial unconfirmed report. The patient was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Bicyclist Struck, Killed In Burlington County
A bicyclist was struck and killed by a car over the weekend Burlington County, police said. The bicyclist was heading north on Branin Road when they were struck by a northbound vehicle near Charville Road in Medford around 10 p.m., local police said. The cyclist -- whose identity was not being released pending family notification -- was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A bicyclist not wearing a helmet was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Rockland County, closing down a busy roadway. Police and paramedics from Ramapo responded to Orange Turnpike in Sloatsburg near the intersection of Liberty Rock Road early on Thursday, Aug. 20, when a driver from Sloatsburg struck a bicyclist, police said. Work-Bound Allendale Bicyclist, 62, Banged Up In Van Crash
A 62-year-old Allendale bicyclist was treated for cuts and bruises after a collision with a van on his way to work early Tuesday, authorities said. The northbound 66-year-old driver was turning into the driveway at 20 Commerce Drive when the van collided with the southbound bicycle on Boroline Road around 6:30 a.m., Police Chief George Scherb said. The bicyclist was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood for treatment, the chief said.
