NYC Man Convicted In Killing Of Apparent Toms River Drug Dealer
UPDATED: A New York City man was found guilty after a jury trial on Monday in the 2018 killing of a drug dealer from Ocean County, authorities said.
Anthony Barksdale, 26, also known as Shakar Barksdale and previously from Seaside Heights, was convicted in the fatal shooting of Steven E. Stallworth, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a statement.
Stallworth, 30, of Brick was shot in the cheek outside a Toms River apartment building on March 5, 2018, with a 9mm, hollow-point bullet from a Ruger automatic handgun, prosecutors have said.

Brick PD: Teens Caught With Weapons, THC, Painkillers In Motor Vehicle Stop
Two teenagers were arrested in Brick on multiple weapons and drug charges, authorities said.
An officer stopped a car leaving a construction zone at Law-Win Court when he smelled burnt marijuana, Brick police said in a statement.
A search of the vehicle found a .25-caliber handgun, ammunition, two knives, a quantity of oxycodone, a quantity of marijuana, THC cartridges and THC edibles, police said.
Nasir Williams, 18, of Brick was charged with trespassing and multiple drug and weapons charges, police said. Williams was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Prosecutor: Kilo Of Cocaine, Firearms, Meth Seized In Ocean County SWAT Team Raid
The Ocean County SWAT Team seized more than two pounds of cocaine, loaded weapons, cash and other drugs from a pair of suspected dealers, authorities said.
Victor Mendoza-Gutierrez, 24, of Manchester, and Jose Quintero, 36, of Brick, were arrested after a search of their homes turned up multiple loaded firearms, more than a kilo of cocaine, 20 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, paraphernalia indicative of drug sales, a high-end security system and about $30,000 in cash, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a statement.
