Inmate Caught With Weapon At Downstate Correctional Facility, Police Say
An inmate at the Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill is facing new charges after being busted with an alleged weapon while he was incarcerated. On Monday, New York State Police investigators announced that on April 18, troopers arrested Brooklyn resident John Hayes following an investigation, that determined that on June 5 last year, Hayes was allegedly in possession of an “improvised weapon” while he was an inmate. Woman Nabbed Smuggling Drugs Into Green Haven Correctional Facility
A 28-year-old woman is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly attempting to bring several drugs into the Green Haven Correctional Facility in Stormville. New York State Police troopers were called by New York State Corrections Officers at the facility on Saturday, Jan. 13 regarding reports of a woman in possession of various drugs.
