A 14-year-old Long Island high school student was accosted by a bald man in an SUV, and now police are searching for the man.
The female student at Smithtown High School East was walking home Friday, Sept. 11 when she reached Lincoln Avenue and 6th Street in St. James, the Suffolk County Police Department said Thursday, Oct. 1.
At the intersection, a bald man between 40 and 50 years old driving a black Audi SUV parked in front of her, made an "inappropriate comment,” and offered her $300, police said.

School Bus Rolls On Side After Being Hit By Car In Fallsburg, 3 Evaluated
Three people, including a student, were evaluated after a school bus carrying a student rolled onto its side following a collision in Sullivan County, school officials said.
The crash happened in Fallsburg just before 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 24, at the intersection of Dairyland Road and Lake House Road, according to the Fallsburg Central School District and Woodridge Fire Department.

Woman, 74, Killed In Rollover Crash Off Albany Exit Ramp: Police
A 74-year-old woman was killed in a car crash in Albany on Tuesday, Sept. 22, police said.
The woman was a passenger in a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 85 around 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to a preliminary investigation by the Albany Police Department.
The driver, a 76-year-old man, lost control while attempting to exit using the off ramp to Krumkill Road, police said. The car then left the road and rolled over onto Bender Avenue, cops said.
