The man found dead inside a vehicle over the weekend was a US Army veteran and a longtime Connecticut corrections and animal control officer, authorities announced.
Oreste "Rusty" P. Bona, 72, was identified as the man whose body was found inside a vehicle around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, in Middlebury, police said. Connecticut State Police are investigating his death, but authorities do not believe it is suspicious.
