Too Drunk MetLife Fan Punches Nurse After Being Taken To Hospital During Giants Game: Police A 54-year-old Kinnelon resident was arrested for punching a nurse after he was taken to a hospital during the Giants game on Sunday, Nov. 26, police said. Todd Lent, clearly not thrilled at having to watch the 2-8 New England Patriots face the 3-8 New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, had to be taken to Hudson Regional Hospital because he was so intoxicated, Secaucus police said. NJ Cop Airlifted In Fall From Tree Stand Suffers Broken Spine Support is on the rise for a Morris County officer who suffered a spinal injury in a fall from a tree stand, those who know him say. Mark Ehrenburg, a police sergeant in Kinnelon, was seriously injured when he fell from a tree stand while hunting in Blairstown on Friday, Nov. 24. Ehrenburg suffered from a broken spine and broken vertebrae and underwent surgery. He faces a lengthy rehab though doctors are optimistic he will walk again, his family said. Screwdriver Used In Assault Of 2 NJ Police Officers: Authorities Two Verona police officers were injured after a man in distress assaulted them with a screwdriver on Wednesday, Nov. 22, authorities said. Police initially responded to a home on Linn Drive and told the man, who was not named, he should seek assistance at a hospital, police said. The man became combative and began assaulting officers, police said. Driver Dies In Head-On Rt. 31 Crash In Hunterdon County: State Police (Update) A 56-year-old man was killed after his car collided with a truck on Route 31 in Hunterdon County on Monday, Nov. 27, state police said. Christopher Jones, of Hampton, was heading north in a Subaru when he entered the left lane going against the flow of traffic, and collided with a southbound Mack truck, head-on around 7:45 a.m. in Hampton near milepost 39, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Jones died in the crash while the driver and passenger of the Mack tractor suffered minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.

Newark Pair Convicted Of Murder In Drive-By Shooting: Prosecutors Two Newark men were recently convicted for their roles in which one man was killed when a group of people were shot at in May 2019, authorities said. Tymeer Gumbs, 25, and Isaiah Kane, 25, were in a stolen Dodge Durango when they pulled up to a group of men and started shooting at them at Maple and Chancellor Avenue in Newark, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. A casting director is looking for people to appear in an ad for a skin care brand shooting in early December in New York. The role pays up to $5,000 for 10 hours of work, the ad says. Man Groped Two Rutgers Students: Police A 29-year-old Hillsborough Township man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Nov. 21 with groping two female Rutgers students in two separate incidents the night before.
