Teaneck Approves New Memorials On Municipal Green TEANECK, N.J. -- Teaneck officials have approved plans to place memorials on the municipal green to commemorate victims of the slave trade and holocaust, according to NorthJersey.com.  The square-shaped memorials have been approved for four potential sites. Haworth Honors Baseball Hall Of Famer Carl Hubbell HAWORTH, N.J. -- Friends of the Haworth Library will sponsor Carl Hubbell Day on Sunday, April 24. Hubbell was a member of the New York Giants from 1928 to 1943. He was a nine-time all-star and a two-time National League MVP. Hubbell was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1947.  Fans will be able to see Hubbell's home in Haworth and hear speakers discuss what propelled him to stardom.  The Haworth Boro Library is located at 300 Haworth Ave.
