Paramus First Graders Learn Balance, Motion PARAMUS, N.J. --Students from Parkway Elementary School in Paramus learned about balance and motion in their science class recently. First grade students were tasked with keeping a marble rolling down a section of foam runway that ran the length of the classroom.  Students learned that having the marble start high and finish low allowed the marble to complete its path.

Cresskill Homeowners On The Hook For Sewer Pipe Maintenance CRESSKILL, N.J. -- Cresskill residents will now be responsible for maintenance on sewer line connections located on their property, according to NorthJersey.com. Under the old ordinance the borough was responsible for replacing or repairing connections between the curb and the main sewer line. Westwood Students' Art Displayed In Morris Museum Exhibit WESTWOOD, N.J. -- Westwood Regional Junior/Senior High's Ella Revera and SuAh Kim Kim were selected to have works displayed at the Morris museum's High School art exhibit. Rivera, a Junior, will display her digital photograph "Still Growing," and Kim, a senior, will show her drawing "Moon Phases." The exhibit, "Fresh Perspectives," is a competitive juried art show highlighting New Jersey’s top high school artists. The exhibit is open to the public from April 7 to June 5. A reception will be held at the Morris Museum on Friday, April 8.
