Oakland Senior Center Full Of Events Into Holiday Season OAKLAND, N.J. -- The Oakland Senior Center will host several events over the next several weeks to keep senior citizens busy.  Events will be held Monday through Friday, except for Thanksgiving and Nov. 27.  Activities include art class, zumba, poker, word games, health screenings and more.  Special trips include a Christmas show and lunch at Hunterdon Hills Playhouse on Dec. 7 and a Victorian Christmas at Ringwood Manor Dec. 9.  The center is located at 20 Lawlor Drive. 5K Championship Comes To Harrington Park HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- The Harrington Park Sports Boosters will host the Fall Spectacular 5K, a USA Track and Field Open Women's Championship race, on Nov. 14. A kiddie dash for children ages 6 and under will begin at 9 a.m. with a one-mile fun run for kids 9 and under starting at 9:15, at Harrington Park High School.
