Pregnant Woman Killed, Baby Delivered After Crash On I-95 In Stonington STONINGTON, Conn. -- A woman who was nine months pregnant was killed in a car crash on Interstate 95 in Stonington on Tuesday, but doctors were able to deliver her child via emergency C-section, according to NBC Connecticut.  Alexandra Brown, 26, of Niantic struck a metal rope guard rail near exit 91 and was ejected from her vehicle. She was not wearing her seatbelt, NBC Connecticut reported.  Brown was taken to Westerly Hospital where the baby was delivered and subsequently taken to Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. Yonkers Man Charged With Driving While Impaired YONKERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Yonkers man with driving while impaired by drugs and criminal possession of marijuana on Wednesday morning, according to officials.  Richard A. Morello, 71, was pulled over on the Sprain Brook Parkway for allegedly failing to maintain his lane of travel. Upon investigation, Troopers suspected Morello of being impaired by marijuana and subsequently discovered 25.1 grams of the drug in his vehicle, police said.  Morello is scheduled to appear in Greenburgh Court on Aug. 18, police said.
