Yonkers Man Charged With Aggravated DWI YONKERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Yonkers man with aggravated driving while intoxicated on the Taconic State Parkway on Sunday, officials said.  Jamel L. Kerson, 39, was pulled over for allegedly failing to maintain his lane of travel. He was taken to the Stormville barracks where his blood alcohol content was determined to be .18 percent, more than twice the legal limit, police said.  Kerson was released to a sober party and is scheduled to appear in East Fishkill Court on Aug. 12.

Former Rye Golf Club GM Sentenced For Scamming City Of $250K, DA Says RYE, N.Y. -- The former general manager of the Rye Golf Club was sentenced to up to three years in prison on Thursday for stealing more than a quarter of a million dollars over a four-year period, according to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore.  Scott Yandrasevich, a 51-year-old Danbury resident, knowingly submitted false invoices to the City of Rye for fictitious employees which allowed him to steal $271,120, the district attorney said.  Yandrasevich accomplished this by setting up and effectively controlling a staffing company called RM Staffing for the purposes of bi…
