Putnam Could See Showers, Thunderstorms Tuesday PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Sunny skies and warm temperatures could give way to showers and possible thunderstorms in Putnam County on Tuesday. Skies will remain mostly sunny on Monday with high temperatures around 81 degrees.  Showers and thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday afternoon with a high of 79. Chance of rain is 40 percent.  Storms will leave the area overnight leaving partly sunny skies on Wednesday with a high around 74.
