Rye Stores Begin Spring Displays RYE, N.Y. -- Despite the cold temperatures, there is a sign that spring will be coming soon. Papyrus at 31 Purchase St. in Rye has already put out its Easter displays in honor of the spring holiday, which is March 27. The extreme cold of last weekend was hopefully the last weather of that kind for winter.

Ossining Matters Holds Annual Fundraiser OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining Matter held their annual winter fundraiser which helps the organization reach out to new people and get them involved as volunteers. About 50 people were in attendance including Ossining Mayor Victoria Gearity and Judge Mike Tawil. Volunteers brought food and Mike and Miriam Risko hosted the event at Mike Risko Music.

Two Hendrick Hudson Wrestlers Win Section One Titles MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Hendrick Hudson has produced not one, but two section one wrestling champions for the 2015-16 season, a first in the school’s history. The two champion wrestlers are senior Sebastian Burbano, who won the 160-pound crown and senior Jordan Artope, who walked away with the 182-pound crown.
