Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

60-Year-Old DC Man Stabbed Dead The victim killed in a morning stabbing has been identified as a Southeast D.C man, authorities say. Orlando Murphy, 60, was found with stab wounds on the 3600 block of Brothers Place around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, Metropolitan Police say. Murphy was pronounced dead on the scene. Student Arrested After Bringing Handgun To High School In Brandywine: Police A teenager who was arrested after bringing a gun to a Brandywine high school is being charged as an adult, authorities say. The loaded gun was discovered after the 17-year-old boy left it in the nurse's office bathroom at Gywnn Park High School around 10 a.m., Monday, June 6, according to the Prince George's Police Department.  The student was also carrying marijuana in his bookbag at the time of the incident. He is charged with possession of a handgun on school property, possession of a handgun by a minor, handgun on person and a drug-related charge.

Jospeh Rascoe, 74, was last seen in his chair on the 400 block of East North Avenue, according to Baltimore Police.
