Early Morning Shooting Leaves Victim Hospitalized In Mount Vernon Authorities in Mount Vernon are investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Tuesday, Feb. 4. Vehicle Hits Victim, Drives Away In Yonkers Authorities are searching for a driver who hit a victim in Westchester and drove off, causing injuries.  The crash happened on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at around 3 p.m., when a light gray SUV hit a person walking in the area of Riverdale Avenue and Pier Street in Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police Sgt.
