Hours-Long Manhunt For Chainsaw-Wielding Man Ends In Stafford An hours-long manhunt for a chainsaw-wielding burglary suspect ended successfully Monday, March 4 in Stafford County, authorities said. Shawn Kimmitz of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said the man, who had tried breaking into a home on Musselman Road around 7 a.m., was captured at Rappahannock Landing in the mid-morning hours. The suspect, whose name was not released, also had a hammer and tried breaking into a car on another block nearby. Additional information is expected to be released.

Jonathan Akubu, 30, and Dean Fosque, 26, both of Philadelphia, approached the victim in his Feasterville driveway around 3:15 a.m. on Nov. 11, 2021, Lower Southampton Township police said Friday, March 1. The men pulled out handguns and physically stole the keys to his 2021 Toyota Venza. One man drove off in the Toyota and the other in a Kia. The FBI charged Akubu and Fosque.

Robert Lafferty III's Kia Optima veered off the 3500 block of West Malaga Road into the oncoming lane of traffic before hitting a landscaping stone, several mailboxes and a tree before coming to rest, local police said.
