Man Shot In Virginia Training Accident: Police
What one man thought was a training pistol was actually a real, loaded handgun in an accident that left another man in serious condition. It happened at a business on the 160 block of Shenandoah Avenue in Timberville around 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, Virginia State Police said. Police did not specify the business. Two men had been working through a training scenario when one discharged what he thought was a training pistol, VSP said. Firefighters were working to knock down a fire at a home in a flood zone in Lincoln Park Tuesday morning, Dec. 19. 200-Person Car Meetup Dispersed By Troopers At NJ Business Center: Police
A nearly 200-person car meetup brought authorities to a Burlington County business center over the weekend. More than 200 vehicles were gathered at the Hainesport Commerce Center when New Jersey State Police troopers responded around 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, NJSP Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. According to abc7, the crowd shot off fireworks, some of which came dangerously close to hitting spectators. A 32-year-old homeless man who destroyed the bathroom of a Prince William County hotel lobby then got a knife and threatened a staff member has been arrested, police said. Terell Jefferson Jackson is believed to have damaged the bathroom inside of the Country Inn and Suites on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge, on Saturday, Dec. 16, county police said. A 34-year-old Stafford man was jailed after authorities said he trespassed at a South Stafford Wawa with drugs. Brett Simpson had been trespassed from the South Gateway Drive Wawa, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. But at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, he was back on the property.
