Drexel Basketball Player Terrence Butler Found Dead A member of the Drexel University Men's Basketball Team was found dead Wednesday, Aug. 2, various news outlets report citing the school. Terrence Butler, a rising junior from Upper Marlboro, MD, was found dead in his on-campus apartment, NBC10 and 6abc report. The 6-foot-7 forward was named MVP of Bishop McNamara, and was studying engineering at Drexel. Police ID Drowned Dad Saving Kids In Millstone River Authorities have identified the 42-year-old dad who drowned while saving his three children in the Millstone River. Rolando Camarillo-Cholula, of South River, went into the water and brought his children, ages 8, 11, and 13 to shore, around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, Franklin Township police said. Inmate, 53, Found Dead In Cell At Fairfax County Detention Center A 53-year-old inmate was found dead in her cell at the Fairfax county Adult Detention Center, police said. Latasha Dove was found unresponsive in her single cell at the ADC on Tuesday, Aug. 1, county police said. Deputies immediately began performing life-saving measures before fire and Rescue personnel responded and transported Dove to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy. Foul play is not suspected. Woman Killed By Garbage Truck While Lying On Ground In Newark A 41-year-old woman was fatally struck by a garbage truck while lying on the ground in Newark, authorities said. Vitina Stern was lying on the ground on the 100 block of Clinton Avenue while the trust was emptying a dumpster around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said. Stern was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:23 a.m. The investigation is active and ongoing. No arrests have been made. Burglar Sexually Assaults Sleeping Arlington Woman Police in Arlington are seeking for the person who broke into a woman's home and sexually assaulted her in her sleep. The incident happened on the 300 block of N. Glebe Road around 1:05 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 2, Arlington County police said. Stolen Honda Struck By Train Killing 1, Hurting Two In Northern VA One person died and two others were seriously injured when the driver of a stolen Honda sedan drove around traffic stopped as a train was coming, and was struck by the train, authorities said. Fleeing Spotsy Driver Made Mistake That Led Deputies To FXB Hiding Spot A 24-year-old Spotsylvania man wanted for fleeing a traffic stop was found hiding in a Fredericksburg apartment, authorities said. Tyrone Wilson was spotted going nearly 70 mph in a 45 mph school zone on July 22, in Stafford County, the sheriff's office said.
