Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Holbrook Woman Accused Of Driving Drunk With Child In SUV After 3-Vehicle Lake Ronkonkoma Crash A woman has been accused of driving drunk with her young son in the SUV after a multi-vehicle crash near a Long Island intersection. The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 in Lake Ronkonkoma. The woman was driving a 2022 Chevrolet SUV southbound on Hawkins Avenue, just north of Smith Street, when she struck two other vehicles, Suffolk County Police said. Person Dies After Being Struck By Compact SUV Near Nesconset Intersection Police are investigating an overnight crash near a Long Island intersection that left a person dead. It happened around 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 in Nesconset. A 27-year-old Nesconset woman was driving a 2005 Honda CR-V on eastbound Nesconset Highway, east of Terry Road, when her vehicle struck a pedestrian in the roadway, Suffolk County Police said. 2 Women Arrested For Prostitution At Huntington Massage Parlor Two women have been charged with prostitution after an investigation of a Long Island massage parlor. In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police conducted the operation at the New York Angel Spa in Huntington at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1. 16-Year-Old Boy Dies After Crash At Syosset Intersection A 16-year-old boy has died just over two weeks after suffering severe head trauma in a crash at a Long Island intersection. The crash happened Sunday, Jan. 15 at around 10:45 a.m. in Syosset. Suspect From Middle Island Nabbed Minutes After Centereach Bank Robbery A suspect was apprehended minutes after a bank robbery on Long Island. According to Suffolk County Police, Ralph William Dominguez, age 65, entered M&T Bank in Centereach, located at 1919 Middle Country Road, at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, and handed a note demanding cash to a bank teller.
