Saddle Brook Native Receives Big 10 Honors With Rutgers Football SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Saddle Brook native Steve Longa, a junior linebacker with the Rutgers football team, was named to the 2015 All-Big Ten team.Longa eclipsed the 100-tackle mark for the third time in his career, becoming just the second Scarlet Knight to achieve the feat in three consecutive seasons. His 76 solo tackles led the Big Ten and ranked sixth nationally. Longa graduated from Saddle Brook High School in 2012 where he led the team to a 10-1 season and an appearance in the state championship game as a senior.

Bronxville Food Drive A Rousing Success BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Bronxville High School and Middle School recently completed its second annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.With the help of the Bronxville community, a nonprofit called Move For Hunger, and Al’s Moving, the community was able to raise over 1,606 pounds of food which was then brought to the Westchester Food Bank just in time for Thanksgiving.  This year's total marks a huge increase over the165 pounds of food the drive raised in its inaugural year.
