Peekskill Central Market Hopes To Open Soon PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Developer and realtor Gabriel Arango hopes to have the Peekskill Central Market open for business by the end of October, according to the Northern Westchester Examiner.  Arango purchased the 15,200 square foot building five years ago with plans to fully renovate the property by keeping the theater and allowing space for several small businesses. Developers Propose Mixed-Use Plan For Hyde Park Property Near CIA HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Developers have proposed a $100 million plan to build up the vacant area across from the Culinary Institute of America on Route 9, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.  The plan calls for the 339-acre parcel in the Bellefield district to have two hotels, retail space and additional amenities in the first phase.
