Reporter, Cameraman Reportedly Shot, Killed By Former Employee This story has been updated. FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. -- A TV news reporter and a cameraman were shot and killed during a live broadcast in Franklin County, Va., on Wednesday morning by an apparent disgruntled former employee, according to multiple reports. Reporter Alison Parker and camera operator Adam Ward worked for CBS affiliate WDBJ-TV in Roanoke. Yonkers Shooting Leaves One Dead, One In Serious Condition, Police Say YONKERS, N.Y. -- One man was killed and another remains in serious condition following a shooting in the area of Lake and Morningside Avenues on Tuesday, according to officials. Police responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 1:36 p.m. on Tuesday and found the two victims in a parked vehicle. Both men were transported to area hospitals. Putnam Valley Man Charged With Fifth Dwi-related Charge In 10 Years PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. -- A Putnam Valley man was charged with his fifth driving while impaired offense in 10 years after an accident in Mohegan Lake, according to New York State Police. Mustafa H. Aljariri, 32, was allegedly involved in one-car, property damage accident on Foot Hill Street. Police suspected him of being impaired by drugs at the time of the accident, police said.
