Yonkers Shooting Leaves One Dead, One In Serious Condition, Police Say YONKERS, N.Y. -- One man was killed and another remains in serious condition following a shooting in the area of Lake and Morningside Avenues on Tuesday, according to officials. Police responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 1:36 p.m. on Tuesday and found the two victims in a parked vehicle. Putnam Valley Man Charged With Fifth Dwi-related Charge In 10 Years PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. -- A Putnam Valley man was charged with his fifth driving while impaired offense in 10 years after an accident in Mohegan Lake, according to New York State Police.  Mustafa H.
