People Grow Old At Vastly Different Rates, Study Shows PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A recent study by Duke University professors showed that individuals physically age at vastly different rates, according to the Washington Post.  The study looked at volunteers ages 26, 32 and 38, and found that while most subjects aged within an expected rate, some aged either much slower, or faster than normal.
