Armonk's IBM Creates Most Powerful Computer Chip To Date ARMONK, N.Y. -- Armonk-based IBM has created a working version of the most powerful computer chip made to date, according to Business Insider.  The new chip will feature transistor gates that are only seven nanometers wide.
