Showers Could Hit Armonk Tuesday Evening WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Clouds will move into Westchester County during the afternoon on Tuesday and will bring a slight chance of showers into the evening hours.  Expect sunshine in the first half of Tuesday to be sunny with a high of 77 degrees. Clouds will roll in after noon and will bring a 20 percent chance of showers.  Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms could linger through 4 p.m. on Wednesday with a high of 68. Expect bright, sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s throughout the rest of the week and through the weekend.

Large Brushfire Reported In Hartsdale HARTSDALE, N.Y. -- Authorities responded to a brushfire reported in the vicinity of Lakeview Avenue in Hartsdale on Monday at 12:30 p.m., according to officials.  A large area of brush went up in flames near the Metro-North tracks. Mutual aid was dispatched to help extinguish the blaze, authorities said.  A two-mile stretch of track north of the Hartsdale train station has been shut down until the fire is under control.

Greenburgh Officer Relieved Of Duty For Posting Racist Photo On Facebook GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A 28-year veteran of the Greenburgh Police Department was suspended and relieved of duty on Monday for allegedly posting a racially insensitive photo on Facebook recently, according to Greenburgh polce officials.  Brad DiCairano posted the photo to the social media site last week while the riots in Baltimore were taking place. He was initially placed on modified duty before the suspension was handed down, police said.  Authorities are still investigating the incident. DiCairano could face severe disciplinary actions, including termination, police said.
