Man Killed In I-684 Accident SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- A Danbury, Conn., man was killed in a car accident on Interstate 684 in Southeast on Tuesday night, according to multiple reports.  Israel N. Albarracin, 37, was reportedly driving a 2005 Buick Rendezvous  when he was hit by a 2011 Subaru Legacy. Albarracin lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, rolled over and hit a tree, newstimes.com reported.  Albarracin was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Mahopac Schools Report High Opt-Out Rate For State Testing PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- With state-mandated testing now underway, several schools in the Lower Hudson Valley are reporting a high occurrence of students opting out, including at Mahopac schools, according to LoHud.com.
