Bronxville's Tad Smith Leaves MSG To Become Sotheby's Top Exec BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Bronxville resident Tad Smith will leave his position as CEO of Madison Square Garden Co. to become the top executive at Sotheby's, according to The Wall Street Journal.  Smith, who became MSG's CEO last year, will take over his new role with the auction house on March 31.
