Conviction Reversed, New Canaan Man Acquitted Of Harassing Nanny NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The conviction of a New Canaan man for harassing his nanny was reversed by the State Appellate court last week, according to the New Canaan News.  Michael Nowacki, 62, was facing a 15-month prison sentence for violating an order of protection put in place by his wife by sending an email to her, as well as one to the nanny he employed, the New Canaan News reported.  Nowacki claimed that the email to his wife was supposed to be sent to another woman in his contact list with a similarly spelled last name and the same initials.
