Darien Changing Dozens Of Commuter Parking Spots To Meters DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Board of Selectmen voted 5-0 to change dozens of permit-based parking spots for Metro-North commuters on Grove Street into metered spots on April 1, according to the Darien News.  A total of 57 spots will be changed over to metered three-hour parking. Buchanan Man Charged With Driving While Intoxicated BUCHANAN, N.Y. -- State Police from the Cortlandt barracks charged a Buchanan man with driving while intoxicated on Friday, according to officials.  James A. Zambrano, 41, was pulled over on Kingsferry Road for failing to maintain his lane of travel, police said.  A breath sample that revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.10 percent, which is over the 0.08 percent legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 13, police said.
