Maywood School District Honors Teachers Of The Year MAYWOOD, N.J. -- The Maywood School District announced the winners of the Board of Education Teacher of the Year and the New Jersey State Governor's Teacher of the Year awards.Alicia Schenk of Maywood Ave. and Patti Donovan of Memorial School were named the BOE teachers of the year. Karen Vastola of Maywood Ave. and Ellen Pope of Memorial School were the New Jersey Governor's Teachers of the Year. All four recipients will be recognized at a BOE meeting on April 20 at 8 p.m.

Trump Brings Campaign To Connecticut Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump will visit Hartford on Friday for a rally. The 7 p.m. event will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center.
