Freeze Watch In Effect For Danbury FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Showers will begin to move out of Fairfield County this afternoon, but falling overnight temperatures have prompted a freeze watch from the National Weather Service for the northern parts of the county.  Clouds will clear out of the area during the afternoon with highs in the mid-50s. Temperatures are expected to dip near the freezing mark overnight.  Sunny skies will remain in the forecast on Wednesday through Friday and temperatures will climb into the mid-to-high 50s.  Expect temperatures to break 60 degrees with abundant sunshine over the weekend.

Oradell Sprinter Guides Middlebury Track And Field Team To Win ORADELL, N.J. -- Former River Dell Track standout Paige Fernandez helped the Middlebury College women's track team secure first place at a quad-meet on Saturday, April 9, according to the school. Fernandez took first place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.63. She also helped the 4x400m relay team take home first place with a time of 4:08.32.  The women's team edged out second place Springfield by just four points by a total score of 192.5-188.

Photos: Frisch Students Donate Hair To Charity PARAMUS, N.J. -- Six students from the Frisch School in Paramus donated their hair to Hair4Wigs - Zichron Menachem at Lillian Lee Salon in Teaneck. Zichron Menachem is an Israeli organization that collects hair donations to make custom wigs for children suffering from cancer and ill effects from its treatment, including hair loss. Salon owner Lillian Lee creates and repurposes high-quality wigs to give to cancer patients.
