Hawthorne Cheers For Chromebook Fundraiser HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- The Hawthorne High School PTO will host a "Cheers for Chromebooks" event Friday, Jan. 22 at Primo Amore Bistro. Wayne Recreation Department Offering Indoor Tennis Lessons WAYNE, N.J. -- The Wayne Recreation Department will offer indoor tennis lessons at the indoor tennis club starting on Friday, Jan. 8.Six-week programs are available for beginners, advanced beginners and intermediates. Overeaters Anonymous Offers Free Help In Saddle Brook SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- The non-profit Overeaters Anonymous group will hold several meetings in Saddle Brook to help people with weight problems at the Kessler Institute. Overeaters Anonymous offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. The Tuesday session will run from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Wednesday will have two sessions, one beginning at 7:30 p.m. and the other at 8:35 p.m. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions. Wyckoff Church Benefits Those In Need In Hackensack WYCKOFF, N.J. -- The quarterly Family Promise Walk-In dinner will be held at the shelter in Hackensack on Sunday, Jan. 17. The group will serve food to up to 150 people. Volunteers to help prep in the kitchen, donate desserts, serve at the shelter and clean up the kitchen. Donations of hotel size personal care items are also needed. Sign-up sheets will be in Sunday bulletins two weeks prior to the Hackensack dinner.
