Oakland Hikers Will Take Evening Excursion In January OAKLAND, N.J. -- Join the meetup group the Hudson Valley Hikers on a Thursday evening hike in Oakland on Jan. 7. Attendees will hike at their own risk and they are advised to bring their own headlamps and gear for a dark.  The group will meet at the lower lot of Skyline Drive and expects to complete between five and seven miles and go as high as 900 feet in elevation during the two to three hour excursion.  The group will meet at 64 Skyline Dr. at 6 p.m.
