Pablo Rivera, 51, Former Paterson Resident PATERSON, N.J. -- Former Paterson resident Pablo L. Rivera passed away on Nov. 7 after a battle with cancer. He was 51.  For over 27 years, Pablo dedicated his life to serving the needs of the children and families of Paterson as program coordinator at the Father English Community Center. He was the brother of Angel Maldonado, Marie Maldonado, Mabelyn Estrada, and Lylian Trani.   Visitation will be held on Wednesday between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Martinez Memorial Funeral Home in Paterson. The funeral service will follow the next day at 10 a.m.

Keegan was born in "Little Dublin" on Grand Street in Paterson, on October 23, 1925. As a child he attended St. John's catholic school.  He joined the US Navy at 18 years old and was assigned to the USS Benjamin Franklin, ("Big Ben"), which was bombed in WWII by kamikaze pilots and survived one of the worst attacks of WWII.
