Thunderstorm Chance Will Return To Armonk WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Sun, lower humidity and temperatures in the 80s will make Friday a banner day in Westchester County, but storms could threaten to dampen the weekend.  Saturday will begin partly sunny with highs around 80 degrees, but storms could threaten the area in the afternoon. Chance of rain and thunderstorms is 30 percent.  Soggy weather becomes much more likely on Sunday with a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout most of the day and into Monday.

Flash Flood Warning Issued For Putnam County PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Putnam County until 7 p.m.  A thunderstorm capable of producing heavy rains is expected to move through the area this afternoon.  A warning indicates that flash flooding is expected in the following areas: Brewster, Lake Carmel, Mahopac, Carmel, Bethel, Carmel Hamlet, Brewster Hill, Chimney Point, Putnam Lake and Peach Lake. Residents in these areas should be ready to take higher ground and report any flooding to local law enforcement agencies.
