Yorktown Man Charged With Allowing Dog To Run At Large YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown man was arrested on May 16 for allowing his Pitbull dog to run at large on Springhurst Street, according to the Yorktown Police.Cliff Mascarehas, 26, was served a criminal summons after police received a call from a resident of Springhurst Street reporting the dog running at large. Officer Garcia was dispatched to the scene and found the dog, police said. Mascarenhas was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court on June 16.

Bridgeport Man Charged By Trumbull Police With Punching Girlfriend TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on May 15 after police said he punched his girlfriend in the stomach and arm during a verbal dispute, according to the Trumbull Times. Police told the Trumbull Times that Juan Blandin, 42, and his girlfriend were at Club Azul when the fight began. Once home, the dispute escalated and the victim's 13-year-old daughter called police, the Trumbull Times reported. The woman refused treatment, said the Trumbull Times.
