2 Arrested On Stolen Car, Crack Charges On I-84 In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. — State police arrested two people after a trooper received a hit on his license plate reader indicating the vehicle they were driving had been stolen. Police said the car was stopped with the assistance of the Danbury Police Department. The two suspects, Alexander Santopietro, 26, of Southbury, and Marissa Primiano, 31, of Katonah, N.Y., were taken into custody. Ginsburg Development Donates To Help Clean Up Saw Mill River MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Ginsburg Development Companies (GDC) was the lead sponsor for the 7th annual Great Saw Mill River Cleanup held April 16 by Groundwork Hudson Valley and the Saw Mill River Coalition. More than 250 volunteers pitched in to clean up the Saw Mill River at eight sites from Irvington to downtown Yonkers. New Canaan Brush Fire Doused Before It Could Spread NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A brush fire started in pile of wood on the side of a house on Parish Lane South on Wednesday, April 20, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. The homeowner's son first noticed a flame in the wood pile while jumping on a trampoline, the New Canaan Advertiser said.  The fire spread to the mulch near the woodpile, but firefighters were able to extinguish it before it spread any further, added the New Canaan Advertiser.
