Shelton Driver Charged With Speeding While Drunk SHELTON, Conn. -- A Shelton man was arrested after Orange Police said they stopped him for speeding on Route 34 at 2 a.m. on Friday, April 8 and officers found that he was also intoxicated, according to the Connecticut Post. Police said Jasper Howard, 38, was stopped for allegedly driving 65 mph in a 45 mph zone, was driving while intoxicated and didn't have his driver’s license, the Connecticut Post reported.
