Eversource Completes New Gas Mains In Danbury
DANBURY, Conn. -- Eversource is working to make natural gas available to more communities around the state, giving people another fuel to heat their homes or businesses.In 2015, Eversource installed nearly 14 miles of new gas main in parts of Bozrah, Danbury, Franklin, Putnam, Southington, Vernon and Waterbury.
Terms are being finalized on a large-scale plan in Darien to bring natural gas to the town’s municipal buildings, schools, several homes and three community revitalization projects.

OSSINING, N.Y. -- Ossining’s championship robotics team will compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition’s New York Regional event at the Jacob Javits Convention Center this weekend.
Matches, scheduled for Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature more than 200 teams from the New York tri-state area, Arizona, Brazil, China, Ecuador, Turkey, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom as they vie to be among the five teams who advance to the national championship in St. Louis.

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A variety of health services and some useful tips on diet, exercise and lifestyle activities will be available Thursday as part of “Health Day,” an event co-hosted by Franklin Street Community Health Center and Neighbors Link Stamford.
