Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Restaurant Announces Closure After Foodborne Illness Incident Sickens Dozens A Long Island restaurant is permanently closing two weeks after dozens of people were sickened from a foodborne illness incident. The last day in business for Kumo Sushi & Steakhouse in Stony Brook will be Sunday, Sept. 24. New Tropical Storm Forms In Active Atlantic: Here's Where Philippe's Headed Just as Ophelia barrels up the East Coast, a brand-new tropical storm has formed amid a flurry of activity in the Atlantic basin. Man Accused Of Using Counterfeit Currency At 10 Suffolk County Businesses A man has been accused of using counterfeit currency at 10 Long Island businesses. The Southampton Police Department advised Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives that the suspect was in custody on Friday evening, Sept. 22 after he was arrested for using counterfeit cash throughout the Seventh and Fifth Precinct of Suffolk County, as well as Westhampton Village, Southampton Village and Easthampton Village. Recall Issued For Kraft American Cheese Singles Due To Choking Hazard A recall has been issued for Kraft Singles American cheese because of a choking hazard. Parent company Kraft Heinz said the voluntary recall involves around 83,800 cases of the individually wrapped slices.
