Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

18-Year-Old Maryland Gunman Threatened Women With AR-15: Police An Edgewater teenager has been arrested after he allegedly threatened and pointed guns at women on multiple occasions, authorities say. Daniel James Bruce, 18, pointed guns at two women over the last month at his home on the 1500 block of Mayfield Road, according to Anne Arundel County Police. $50K Reward Offered In Montgomery County Farm Vandal Investigation: Police A Damascus farm owner is offering a massive $50,000 reward after his farm was vandalized and contaminated in April 2021, authorities say.
