Larchmont Playhouse Gets Nonprofit Status, Residents Continue To Seek Funds LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- The fight to save the Larchmont Playhouse continues but so far, the results are promising. The theater recently -- as of Monday, Aug. 22 -- received 501(c) status to operate as a not-for-profit.
