DC Police Sergeant Won't Face Charges In Suspect's Fatal Rooftop Fall A DC police officer won't be facing charges in a suspect's fatal rooftop jump last February, federal officials announced. Sgt. Travis Maguire was called to the 4500 block of MacArthur Boulevard, Northwest, on reports of a man identified only as B.B. yelling suicidal thoughts just before dawn on Feb. 28, the DC U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Fatal Crash Reported In Newark Police in Newark were investigating a fatal crash early Tuesday, Aug. 15. A spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said only that the crash happened near Broad and Pennington streets. Full Circle For NJ Army General In New Role Helming Crucial Reserve Unit The U.S. Army's Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey was the first place Kris Belanger first stepped foot when she enlisted in the Army. Now, she's one of the people running the show there. Infant Was In Vehicle During Fairfax County Shooting: Police A gunman was arrested for a shooting that happened in a vehicle carrying an infant and a family member wanted on warrants in Virginia, police said. Road Rage: Driver Arrested In PWC Assault, Police Say A 33-year-old driver was arrested for assaulting another motorist over the weekend, authorities in Prince William County said. Joshua Barrett, of Woodbridge, approached a 36-year-old man around 8:05 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, at Botts Avenue and Horner Road, and struck him multiple times, county police said. Six Hospitalized When Tractor Trailer Flips Onto Cars On Rt. 22 (Update) Six people were hospitalized when a tractor-trailer overturned onto several vehicles in Warren County Monday, Aug. 14, police said. The Allentown-bound truck was cut off by another vehicle on Rt. 22 at St. James Avenue just before 12:50 p.m. in Pohatcong, local police said. The other vehicle collided with the truck and caused the truck to swerve off the road.
