Police ID Man Shot Dead In Parking Garage In Montgomery County Police have identified the man shot and killed in a Montgomery County parking garage over the weekend. Kymani Elijah Bailey, 21, of Baltimore, was found on the first level of the garage in the 900 block of Silver Spring Avenue in Silver Spring, around 2:40 a.m. Saturday, July 8, Montgomery County police said. Bailey had just left a nearby restaurant and was walking inside of the parking garage when he was shot. A suspect had not been identified as of press time. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Child Trapped In Seatbelt Struggling To Breathe Freed By Sheriff's Deputy In VA An 11-year-old girl trapped by her seatbelt was saved by a Stafford County Sheriff's deputy, authorities said. The girl's parent flagged down the deputy on Friday, July 7 in the Sheetz parking lot on Wyche Road, around 4:45 p.m., Sheriff David Decatur said. The girl, red in the face, was trapped in her seatbelt and unable to get out. Deputy Pitts noticed the seatbelt was twisted around the child’s stomach. MD Teen Gunned Down On Family Vacation In Puerto Rico, Suspect Surrenders: Police A suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a Maryland teen in Puerto Rico has surrendered, police said. Carlos Aníbal Rosado Martínez, 23, turned himself in Wednesday morning, July 5, according to the Commissioner of the Puerto Rico bureau of police. Rosado Martinez is accused of killing Tommy Grays III in Isla Verde earlier that week, in an altercation on the beach, according to police and NBC Washington. Motorcyclist, 20, Killed In Allentown Crash A 20-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash in Allentown Saturday, July 8, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The motorcyclist, whose name was not released, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest after the 1:19 p.m. accident at the intersection of W. Greenleaf and Ott streets, where he was pronounced dead. No further information was released.

Drunken Driver Kills Pedestrian, 26, In VA Hit-Run Crash: Police Police have released the identities of both the 33-year-old suspect and 26-year-old pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash overnight in Fairfax County. Fish Hooks Embedded In Chunks Of Meat Pose Risk To Dogs In Alexandria Nine chunks of meat embedded with a fish hook were found in an Alexandria neighborhood on Friday morning, July 7, officials said. The horrifying discovery made near Duke and Ingram streets around 9:30 a.m. brought authorities to the scene. The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is urging dog owners to be vigilant. MD College Student Killed In DC A 21-year-old Maryland college student was killed in Washington DC, those who knew the victim said. Alison Cienfuegos-Vasquez, of Temple Hills, MD, was shot around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, in the 1200 block of Valley Avenue, Southeast, DC Metro police said. She was later pronounced dead. Alison's mom tells NBC Washington that her daughter was planning to meet a man she met on Instagram at the Wheeler Terrace Apartments, but was in the "wrong place at the wrong time" when gunfire rang out.
