Firefighter Burned Fighting 3-Alarm Fire At Virginia Beach T-Shirt Factory (Update) A three-alarm fire destroyed the T-Shirt Factory and a firefighter was hospitalized with burns on Tuesday, July 11 in Virginia Beach. Fire crews were dispatched to the 2600 Block of Atlantic Avenue around 5:15 p.m., where they were met by heavy smoke coming from the factory. More than 75 firefighters responded to the three-alarm commercial structure. The spent fireworks went off around 12:55 a.m. on July 4, at a home on the 600 block of Stuart Court in Herndon, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said. Twelve people were displaced by the flames that ravage a two-story, single-family home, including one who was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
