Firefighter Burned Fighting 3-Alarm Fire At Virginia Beach T-Shirt Factory (Update) A three-alarm fire destroyed the T-Shirt Factory and a firefighter was hospitalized with burns on Tuesday, July 11 in Virginia Beach. Fire crews were dispatched to the 2600 Block of Atlantic Avenue around 5:15 p.m., where they were met by heavy smoke coming from the factory. More than 75 firefighters responded to the three-alarm commercial structure. Fox Lurking Near Maryland Campsite Tests Positive For Rabies A fox captured over the weekend in Frederick County has tested positive for rabies, officials said. The animal was spotted hanging around Catoctin Mountain Park and Cunningham Falls State Park near Camp Misty Mount in late June and early July, the Frederick County Health Department said. Improperly Discarded Fireworks Caused July 4th Fairfax County House Fire Improperly discarded fireworks have been identified as the cause of a Fourth of July house fire in Fairfax County, authorities said. The spent fireworks went off around 12:55 a.m. on July 4, at a home on the 600 block of Stuart Court in Herndon, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said. Twelve people were displaced by the flames that ravage a two-story, single-family home, including one who was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. All 6 Students Who Violently Attacked Teen In VA High School Bathroom In Custody: Police Two more assailants have been arrested in the assault-robbery of a 15-year-old boy in a Prince William County high school bathroom, police announced. The 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old Jerome Okine Amartey, of Woodbridge, participated along with the other four teens who confronted the victim in the bathroom of Freedom High School on June 14, around 8:40 a.m., Prince William County police said. US Capitol Police Officer Busted With Child Porn: Police A 42-year-old US Capitol Police officer from Maryland was arrested after being found in possession of child porn, authorities said.
