Teenager Dies After Arriving At Jersey City Hospital With Gunshot Wound: Prosecutors An 18-year-old teenage boy was pronounced dead on Monday, Dec. 18 after he was dropped off at a Jersey City hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, authorities said. At 2:20 p.m., the boy arrived at Jersey City Medical Center in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the upper body, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said. He was pronounced dead shortly before 4 p.m., prosecutors said. The case is being investigated by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department.

Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle Crossing Highway: Linden Police (Update) A 60-year-old Linden man was fatally struck by a vehicle on Monday, Dec. 18, police said. A 78-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman from Old Bridge were heading south on Route 1 when they fatally struck the man as he crossed the highway at 6:49 p.m., police said.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Police declined to identify who was driving the vehicle, citing the ongoing investigation.
