Woman Shoplifted Kohl's Three Times: Secaucus PD The third time shoplifting Kohl's was not the charm for a 26-year-old Jersey City resident. Britney Lockett was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 11 and charged with shoplifting Kohl's in Secaucus three different times over the summer, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Lockett was charged with shoplifting from Kohl's on July 31, August 1 and August 3, police said. James Palmer, a 24-year-old Jersey City resident was charged in connection the initial shoplifting incident, police said. Lockett was issued three complaint summonses and released from police custody, police said.

Jersey City Substitute Teacher Sexually Assaulted Two Students: Prosecutors Fayez Yassa, a 64-year-old Jersey City resident, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 12 and charged with sexually assaulting two students while serving as a substitute teacher at President Barack Obama Elementary School, PS #34. Yassa assaulted the two students back in May, prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Yassa was arrested at his residence and transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance, Suarez said.
